KALINAW SARANGANI will help maintain the effective system of coordinating efforts and strategies in the promotion, preservation and maintenance of peace and order in the locality and likewise will initiate responsive interventions to address the lingering problems of insurgency, arm conflicts, banditry, and peoples’ feeling of apathy towards government capacity to provide safety and security to our constituents. It envisions for genuine people’s participation regardless of ethnic affiliation.
Program Goals, Objectives and Principles
- KALINAW SARANGANI aims to promote and preserve a peaceful and livable Sarangani where people enjoy basic services and are actively involved in planning development and exercising governance.
Specific Objectives
- To strengthen organizational capacities and capabilities of partners in development planning and local governance;
- To strengthen community mobilization in the maintenance of peace-building infrastructures through conduct of progressive barangay and municipal-based consultation with various peace and development stakeholders;
- To assist in the effective enforcement/ implementation of local policies
